As far as vegan roadtrip advice, I use vegguide (dot) org before I travel to see restaurants in that area. As far as good vegan fast food, other than Subway which you mentioned, I like Chipotle, Panera Bread, Noodles & Company, Taco Bell, Chili’s, and the Hardrock Cafe. I like to pack tons of snacky things in tupperware containers before a trip too – like hummus with some pita slices, sliced fruits, granola bars, dried fruit and nut mixes, chocolate bars (have you tried Go Max Go vegan candy bars from Whole Foods? They’re amazing!)

Thanks for the suggestions!  Hooray for sites like Yelp, right?  My husband and I were excited to find a pizza place in a suburban strip mall in Fargo, ND last month that had vegan cheese on the menu!

Vegan Road Trip Survey

Okay, internet friends.  My husband and I travel – a LOT.  And we don’t always pack ourselves fabulous vegan meals to have on the go.  The result?  We spend an awful lot of time at Subway – and if we’re lucky (!), Quiznos.

Do you have any vegan road trip tips or secrets (bonus points for at least marginally healthy options)?
